Future cyber attacks to be Artificial Intelligence-driven: Expert

Bengaluru: India has been ranked third in the world for the highest number of cyber threats being detected after the US and China, and second in terms of targeted attacks, according to Symantec’s Internet Security Threat Report. The country ranks fourth for complex cyber attacks – like ransomware and network attacks. “Majority of significant cyber attacks experienced in India are state sponsored,” said Leslie K. Lambert, chief security & strategy officer, Gurucul, a leading global cyber security company that looks into User & Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA).
