How we use Personal Data (legal grounds and purpose)
Legal ground: the processing of your Personal Data is necessary to provide you with the service offered on the Site (the “Service”).

Purposes: the collected Personal Data is used for the following purposes: (i) identifying the User upon login; (ii) making the User's username appear next to comments left by that User on the forum; (iii) sending the User email notifications in connection with the “Ask a researcher” Service. Your public User profile can be seen by any other User when you leave a comment on a forum. Users can ask you to be connected with you.

You can also access certain services without registering. In such case you access is anonymous and we do not retain any Personal Data.

The registered User can leave comments on the forum, ask questions, via the “Ask a researcher” function, that are verified by the Provider and possibly sent to a researcher who can answer on the dedicated platform. Both the questions asked by the User and the answers given by the researcher are published on the website.

Without needing to register, the User can access the following Services: (i) fruition of video interviews on scientific topics; (ii) reading the comments left by other Users below the aforementioned videos; ( (iii) reading questions and answers on the “Ask a researcher” function; (iv) viewing the statistical results of the iNerd test; (v) research of articles/ discussion/ scientific news; the data of your searches are not collected or are collected anonymously, so that such research cannot be traced back to the Users.

How we disclose your Personal Data
In connection with the provision of the Services we might disclose your Personal Data to the following categories of subjects:

- Users who can see your public profile;
- researcher to which you are asking a question

You may share your score on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn at your sole discretion. Please note that you are solely responsible in connection with the disclosure of such data by you and shall not have any right to claim any damages vis-à-vis us in relation to that. Please, also note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. The collected Personal Data is stored in the Site's database until you are a registered User.
